The history of the process of integration from the immediate post-war period to the present days. Reflections on the Union’s future prospects. The section about the Institutions shows the structural dynamics of the European Union, from the political and legal point of view. We examine the European institutions, their individual duties, the institutional balance and the most important processes of the European Union.
Some video-lessons have been recorded by institutional Protagonists of the EU history.

Objectifs
Supplying the student with basic notions about the historical and political evolution of the European integration process and about its Institutions.
Programme
The European Union law is analized in this module as a legal system, under the perspective and methodology of the comparative law. The module analizes the dynamics in the emerging European democracy, the main aspects of decision-making process and the main innovations brought by the Treaty of Lisbon.
